Commitment to Improving Education for Children in Peru

Chaska Tours not only promises to exceed traveler’s vacation expectations, we are also on a mission to transform education for children in rural Peru. With our holistic approach to children’s education we want to revolutionize education in rural communities.
This includes bringing iPads to the classrooms without access to technology. We also aim to integrate techniques such as accelerated learning, mindmapping along with daily respiration and meditation.

We are currently working with Picaflor House Oropesa to change their future by providing 10 ipads for their after school education program. Oropesa, located south of Cusco is a farming and bread-making community. Families are very low income and the children in this community lack access to the internet, libraries and other educational resources.

We are convinced that the iPad project at Picaflor House will make a difference for the children in Oropesa. The iPads will be used to facilitate math and literacy comprehension and teach students English.
Besides learning with the iPads the children receive homework help, reading comprehension, mathematics, traditional dance, physical education, English classes and art programs so that these children will have better opportunities in the future.

We invite you to join us in improving education for impoverished children in Peru.
