Day 2 Amazon Rainforest - Inkaterra
Walk back to the airport from the Costa del Sol Hotel or transfer to the airport for your Flight to Puerto Maldonado.
We will be waiting for you on your arrival in Puerto Maldonado to start your Amazon tour. We will go by boat to the jungle lodge and after your check in, you will have free time to settle in. Your lunch is then served in the main dining room and in the afternoon you will enjoy a guided walk along a special nature trail. In the evening you will have a twilight river excursion followed by cocktails and dinner on the lovely lodge grounds.

Day 3 Amazon Rainforest - Inkaterra
This morning you can stay in bed or if you prefer get up early for some explorations - breakfast begins at 5:30 a.m. to avoid the heat and enjoy nature at its fullest. You will start the excursion to Sandoval lake in the Tambopata National Reserve.Return to your lodge for lunch. After lunch we will take the Canopy Walk and you have the option to extend your excursion to appreciate the sunset from one of the high canopy towers. From this point you will return to the Amazon Lodge. Cocktails are served in the main dining room or during the evening nature presentation in the Eco-Media Center. Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m.

Note: The Amazon itinerary is from one of the different lodges we offer, itineraries change depending on the chosen lodge. The description of this Amazon tour is when you stay at the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica or Hacienda Concepcion Lodge. The tour with Corto Maltes is similar but does not include the Butterfly farm and Canopy walk. Upgrading to the Hacienda Concepcion or Reserva Amazonica is possible at an additional cost depending on availability at the lodge. You will take a flight from Puerto Maldonado to Cusco.Upon your arrival to Cusco our representative will meet you to transfer you to your hotel. Day 5: Sacred Valley of the Incas
Today in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel for your day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit the archaeological site of Pisac, its colorful handicraft market and in the afternoon we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. At Pisac we can enjoy seeing a small handicraft and typical Andean market where you have good opportunities to buy local handicraft. We will continue to Urubamba where a buffet lunch is served. After lunch we will continue our tour visiting Ollantaytambo where we will explore the town and the Archaeological site. Ollantaytambo is an attractive little town at the western end of the Sacred Valley. The town has been built on top of original Inca foundations and is the best surviving example of an Inca town planning. It is located at the bottom of incredible Inca ruins, which protected the strategic entrance to the lower Urubamba Valley. The temple area is at the top of a steep terracing which helped to provide excellent defenses against invaders. At the end of your tour you will be taken to your Hotel.

Day 6: Two day Mountain-bike trip to Lares
This morning, get ready for a spectacular downhill adventure on mountainbikes through the valley of Lares. At the end of this day you can take a relaxing dip in the Thermal baths of Lares and enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by our cook.

Day 7: Downhill Mountainbike - Lares Pass.
A fantastic downhill adventure on mountainbike through the Lares pass heading to Calca (approximately 4 hours by bike). At the end of the the tour, we will take you to your hotel in the Sacred Valley

Day 8: Short Inca Trail to MachupicchuWe will start the day with an early transfer to the train station of Ollantaytambo to take the train to the starting point of the short Inka trail. We disembark at Km 104 and start the recently discovered ancient one day Inca trail to Machu Picchu. We cross a bridge over the Vilcanota (Urubamba) River climbing up and away through exhuberant vegetation that is home for hundreds of bird and orchid species. We will emerge from the cloud forest at Wiñaywayna which is a beautiful ceremonial site divided into two sectors and fashioned from finely-carved stones fitted together with great precision. Then we will continue our hike to the Sun Gate where we will get our breathtaking first views of Machupicchu. Here, the final stretch of the royal Inca highway will take us to the citadel itself, hidden in undergrowth for four centuries and now laid out for our appreciation. Day 9 Machupicchu
This morning you will have an early start, after breakfast, with your guide you will take a bus up to the citadel of Machupicchu on time to catch the magnificent sunrise. Our professional guide at your pace will show you the main areas, recounting myths and legends passed down over the centuries and explaining about some of the advanced building techniques the Incas used. After your tour you will have plenty of time to look around maybe do some of the other treks which are available in the surrounding mountains. At about 1.30 p.m. it will be time to have lunch in town and at 3.20 p.m. you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo station and then a transfer back to Cusco, estimated arrival time to Cusco will be around 7.30 p.m.

Day 10 Cusco
This morning will be free to relax or explore the city of Cusco on your own. In the afternoon your guide will pick you up from your hotel for your guided city tour, including two archaeological sites. We will visit the impressive Qoricancha temple, then take a short walk through the old inca streets of Cusco visiting the Cathedral in the main square and then to see the famous 12 angled Inca stone. From this point our car will take you to the megalithic site of Sacsayhuaman and Qenko, a religious place where the Incas used to worship some of their divinities. After these inca sites we will return to your hotel.
You will have the rest of the afternoon free, this is a good moment to buy souvenirs since Cusco offers some fine Alpaca wool, silver jewelry, and other fine handicrafts.

Day 11 Journey to Puno by bus
In the morning we will transfer you to the bus station for your First Class bus ride to Puno. This day, a long bus ride will take you through the high and wide Andean valleys with stunning views of snow capped mountains. on pur way we will stop at some places of interest; you will also get a glimpse of the Andean lifestyle in these remote valleys up in the mountains.
Places you will visit are:
• The church of Andahuaylillas is known as the "Sistine Chapel of America". It is one of the best - preserved examples of Andean religious art.
• Raqchi, the temple of Wiracocha God.
• La Raya, the highest point between Puno and Cusco (14234 feet).
• The litho-sculptures of Pukara, belonging to a civilization of the same name, Pukara.
Buffet lunch is included in the program and is served halfway.

Day 12 Two day Puno/ Uros / Kayak Llachon /Ticonata
We start early our day, at 07:00 a.m. Transfer to the port to board a motor boat and visit the intriguing floating Islands of Uros. Then after approximately two hours and twenty minutes trip by boat, arrive to Llachon – Santa Maria. Contact with the staff of Titicaca Kayak Company, after the safety briefing from the specialized kayak guide, put on the kayak equipment and paddle along the coast of the Capachica peninsula. Experience the immensity of Titicaca Lake and all its magic. Lunch at a local restaurant, then we travel by motorboat to Ticonata island, arrival approximately at 3:30 p.m. , meet the local community and enjoy diverse activities including handicrafts, agriculture and music. At night, enjoy dinner prepared with typical products, campfire under the stars and a demonstration of Coca leaves reading.

Day 13 Two day Tconata /Amantani / Puno
After breakfast, we will start a unique two hour sailing cruise by wooden sail boats towards Amantani Islands, Taft fishermen and the west winds will take us to our destination.
Visit the village and depart to Puno after lunch. Arrival at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Transfers, private motor boat, specialized guide, entrances, accommodation at Ticonata lodge, luch, dinner and breakfast. Full Kayak service, the second lunch in Amantani is not included.

On your arrival in Lima you will be met by our representative at the exit gate; please remember to go straight to leave your luggage at the airport storage. Then you will be transferred to the drop off / pick up point in Miraflores in front of the Marriott Hotel. You have free time for lunch. At the requested time you will be picked up in front of Marriott hotel for your guided Lima city tour in shared service. After your tour you will be taken back to Marriott Hotel where you will have free time. Again at the scheduled time you will be `picked up from this point, in front of the Marriott Hotel and transferred to the airport for your international flight. Machu Picchu Pueblo
Rooms at the Hotel Andina are spacious and the riverside rooms have spectacular views of the mountains and river. All rooms have a bathtub and the six luxury rooms of the hotel include a Jacuzzi. All rooms have flat screen 32'' plasma TVs with cable. Eco Inn Puno
Hotel Eco Inn Puno is situated on the shores of Lake Titicaca, about a 10 minute ride from the centre of Puno.
The rooms are large and from most of them you have a nice overview of the bay and Lake Titicaca. The staff is frindely and helpfull.
From the breakfast room you have a view of the little alpaca corral outside.
Hotel Encantada is far from the noisy streets, but still located in the centre and close to the Sacsayhuaman ruins. The Encantada Boutique Hotel is a marvellous place located in the higher part of Cusco's city centre.
All 15 rooms are divided among three floors in this modern styled hotel; on the upper floor there is a rooftop terracce and a spa. From both places you'll have an excellent view over the city, the surrounding mountains and the rooftops of San Blas while listening to the sound of the birds in the trees close by. The services of the Spa are exclusive guests of the hotel and must be reserved in advance.

Manhattan airport hotel is convenientely located near the airport of Lima in a quiet neighbourhood. It is a 10 minute ride to the hotel.
Hotel Manhattan is a good economic option when your arrival is late in the evening and if you have a morning flight the next day.
