Altogether we spend a good three hours at the geyser field, taking it really easy. A buffet breakfast is provided some time after arrival. Driving back down to San Pedro, we still take our time for you to enjoy the Andean flora, fauna and scenery - a nice extra to this tour being our walk along a lone mountain brook through a cactus-lined canyon. Arrival San Pedro around 1pm.
* Valle de la Luna, departure from your hotel at 2:30pm. On this excursion we traverse the Cordillera de la Sal (2.500mts), mostly doing light treks in this eroded setting of badlands geology : salt, mineral and clay canyons, huge sand dunes to slide or run down from, specifically in the Valle de la Muerte.
