From Cusco we will travel to Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas and afterwards to the vibrant, colonial city of Lima.

Day by day

Day 1 Cusco

On your arrival in Cusco airport our representative will be waiting at the exit gate with a sign with your name. We will transfer you to your hotel and give you a briefing on the upcoming tours and provide you tickets and vouchers for hotels, schedules and any helpful information to ensure your full enjoyment of the program. After your check in, you have the morning free to relax and adjust to the altitude. In the afternoon your guide will come to pick you up from your hotel for your guided city tour, including four archaeological sites. We will visit the impressive Qoricancha temple and then we will take a short walk through the typical streets of Cusco visiting the Cathedral in the main square. Then our bus will take us to the megalithic site of Sacsayhuaman, and after we will visit Qenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Finishing back at your hotel.

Day 2 Sacred Valley and Aguas Calientes Town

At 8 a.m. we will depart from Cusco heading up and over the highlands towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We arrive to Pisac to visit its colourful handicraft market. Here you have the opportunity to bargain for some of the many artisan goodies on offer. After a time in the market you will head up to Pisac ruins located high up overlooking the valley. After an hour exploring this magnificent site, we return to the town and we will continue through the valley until we reach the town of Urubamba. Here we will have a buffet lunch before continuing to Ollantaytambo town for our tour of the archaeological site. The site is located high on top a the mountain that overlooks the town. Ollantaytambo is the gateway to Machu Picchu, After visiting Ollantaytambo you will continue to the station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, depending on the service you are taking, private or group tours, train schedules also may vary.
On arrival, our representative will take you to your hotel. Once you are in the hotel our guide will visit you to brief you about the next day schedule.
You have the evening free to relax and explore the town.

Day 3 Machu Picchu and Cusco

This day we have an early start, after breakfast, accompanied by your guide you will take the bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu, on time to witness the first rays of sunlight over the citadel. Our guide will slowly show you around the main areas, explaining the theories about the construction techniques the Incas used and recounting myths and legends passed down over the centuries. Finishing your tour you will have plenty of time to look around or maybe do some of the other treks which are available in the surrounding mountains. After lunch it will be time to board the afternoon return train to Poroy station and then a transfer back to Cusco.

Day 4 Flight to Lima

Morning transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Lima.

On arrival to Lima our representative will meet you at the exit gate, it is advisable to go straight over to leave the luggage at the airport storage. After, you will be transferred to the drop off / pick up point in Miraflores in front of the Marriott Hotel. You have free time for lunch. Afternoon City Tour of Colonial and modern Lima. Evening transfer to Lima airport for your international flight.
